Professional Home Studio
All of the demos and work samples on this site were recorded in my professional home studio. That's important because it means that they represent the true audio quality you can expect if you hire me. Too many voiceover artists record their demos at a commercial studio where they rented time for the session. While they may sound great, there is no way they can reproduce that level of sound quality at home because they don't have the proper hardware or environment. At VoiceoverMike.com what you hear is what you can expect to get.
For those who may be technically oriented or just curious about my setup, here is what I use:
Microphones
Sennheiser MKH 416
Sure KSM 44A
Mic pre-amp/processing
Avalon 737sp
Digital Interface
Audient ID14
Audio Monitoring
JBL Series 3 Spatial Reference Monitors - elevated
Sony MDR V6 Studio Headphones
Behringer Monitor2USB audio control console
HP PC - sound enhanced
My studio is a dedicated room treated for sound reflections and audio isolation right down to the argon filled double pane windows to isolate exterior noise from entering.
